"Spring Arrives Muddy" is an original watercolor painting made en plein air at a park near my home in Greensboro, North Carolina. It tells a story of growth and rebirth through the mess. Greens and earthy browns are painted against a pale blue sky, refelcted in the tiny creek that flows through the piece.

I have used conservation grade UV varnish and affixed the paper to a wooden panel so that it can be hung as is, or framed to add drama. Frame not included, but happy to help with that process if desired.
The piece is 8 x 8, and would make the perfect gift for someone who needs a peaceful reminder of the beauty that follows winter's bitter cold. The muddy ground is what allows the seed of spring to leap into action and begin to sprout.
